Sanford Blue Wave classes are a full body workout consisting of stretching, calisthenics and aerobic conditioning through training Taekwondo. Beginning students learn basic kicking, blocking and punching techniques which are developed by discipline and practice. Techniques progress through traditional training and expand to Olympic style sparring and self defense instruction.
The Sanford gym has been in the same location since 1985 and has developed a strong group of black belts with knowledge and traditions.
Mr. Mike Livingston, the Sanford Blue Wave's instructor, is a fourth degree black belt who has been involved with Taekwondo for 16 years.
